several profound truths within its symbolic imagery:

At one time all life lived in harmony; plants, insects, &sh, birds, animals and humans all talked
to one another and were friends. A time came when man began to multiply and stake his claim
on land, slowly pushing the animals and other life forms into the forests and deserts. At this
time, man also began to kill animals, not only for food but also for their skins and fur.

The animals became angry at this treatment from their former friends and the Bear Tribe met in
council, led by their Chief, Old White Bear, to discuss what they should do. After several bears
described the bloodthirsty actions of man, it was agreed that man and animal were in a state of
war with one another. Old White Bear asked what weapons man was using to kill animals, and
the bears answered that they were using bows and arrows and that the string for the bow was
made from the insides of the bear. The bears decided that they must make their own bows and
arrows and one bear sacri&ced himself to provide the needed bowstrings. However, once the
bows and arrows were made, the bears realised that they could not draw the string because of
their claws, and if they removed their claws they would not be able to climb trees for food and
safety. They discarded the idea of &ghting man with the same weapons that man used.

Now the Deer Tribe called a council to devise another method for dealing with the threat from
man. They decided that if any Indian man killed a deer without need, and without asking for
pardon in a suitable manner, the Deer Tribe would in%ict him with a painful disease that would
stiffen his limbs so that he could never hunt again. Chief Little Deer then sent a message to the
Cherokee tribe saying, “From now one, your hunters must offer a prayer before killing a deer. You must
ask his pardon and state clearly that it is the hunger of your tribe, that cannot be satisfied by any other
means, that has led you to your need to kill a deer. If a deer is killed in any other way, or for any other
reason than true need, then the hunter will be inflicted with a terrible disease that will ensure that he can
never hunt again.”

From then on, whenever a Cherokee killed a deer, Chief Little Deer would travel as fast as the
wind and ask the deer if he had been killed for a genuine need, and whether the man who killed
him had prayed for pardon. If the answer was ‘no’ then Little Deer would follow the hunter back

who values his health, ever kills a deer without need and genuine prayer for forgiveness.

The next council was held by Fishes and Reptiles, who had their own complaints against Man’s
treatment of them. They determined that when a man mistreated their kind, then they would
make the man a victim of terrifying visions and nightmares of rotting %esh, so that his sleep
would not refresh his body or mind, he would lose his appetite, sicken and die.

Finally the Birds, Insects and smaller Animals (down to the tiniest one) met in council to
question whether man should be punished for his treatment of them. One after another they
came forward to describe man’s cruelty towards them and, &nally, Frog spoke. “We must do
something to check the increase in numbers of the human race or, before long, they will become so
numerous that we will be crowded off of the face of the Earth and the Earth will die.” It was decided that
each bird, insect and smaller animal would create a disease with which to check the growth of
the human race. They came up with so many different ailments and diseases that, if their vision
had not failed them, there would be no humans today.

When the plants heard of the plans of the Animals, Reptiles, Fish, Birds, Insects and smaller
Animals, they determined to defeat their evil plans. Plants know only how to give, and their
highest purpose is in the service of others with their body, mind and spirit. Each tree, shrub,
herb, grass and moss declared, “I shall appear to help Man whenever he calls upon me with his need.”

In this way, medicine was created and each plant has its use to help and heal the body, mind and
spirit of Man, if only we ask. When a medicine man does not know what plant to use for a sick
person, the spirit of a plant will tell him.

Here is a list of some common parasites that can negatively impact human health:

Protozoa:

Plasmodium species (malaria): Transmitted through the bites of infected mosquitoes, causing malaria.

Entamoeba histolytica: Causes amoebic dysentery and can lead to severe intestinal infections.

Helminths (Worms):

Ascaris lumbricoides: Causes ascariasis, affecting the gastrointestinal tract.

Trichuris trichiura (whipworm): Causes trichuriasis, affecting the large intestine.

Ancylostoma duodenale, Necator americanus (hookworms): Cause hookworm infections, affecting the small intestine and potentially leading to anemia.

Enterobius vermicularis (pinworm): Causes enterobiasis, primarily affecting the large intestine and causing itching around the anus.

Taenia saginata, Taenia solium (tapeworms): Cause taeniasis, affecting the gastrointestinal tract, and cysticercosis, which can affect various tissues.

Schistosoma species (blood flukes): Cause schistosomiasis, affecting the urinary and intestinal systems.

Nematodes:

Strongyloides stercoralis: Causes strongyloidiasis, affecting the gastrointestinal and respiratory systems.

Wuchereria bancrofti, Brugia malayi, Brugia timori (lymphatic filariasis): Cause lymphatic filariasis, affecting the lymphatic system.

Onchocerca volvulus: Causes onchocerciasis or river blindness, affecting the skin and eyes.

Loa loa (eye worm): Causes loiasis, affecting the skin and eyes.

Dracunculus medinensis (guinea worm): Causes dracunculiasis, affecting subcutaneous tissues.

Ectoparasites:

Sarcoptes scabiei (scabies mite): Causes scabies, affecting the skin.

Pediculus humanus capitis (head louse) and Pediculus humanus corporis (body louse): Cause pediculosis, affecting the hair and body.

Blood-Borne Parasites:

Trypanosoma brucei gambiense and Trypanosoma brucei rhodesiense (African trypanosomes): Cause African trypanosomiasis or sleeping sickness.

Plasmodium species (malaria): Transmitted by mosquitoes, causing malaria.

Apicomplexans:

Toxoplasma gondii: Causes toxoplasmosis, affecting various organs, especially problematic in pregnant women and immunocompromised individuals.

It's essential to note that the impact of these parasites can vary based on factors such as the individual's health, the level of exposure, and the specific characteristics of the parasite. Prevention and control strategies often involve good hygiene practices, proper sanitation, vector control, and, in some cases, medical treatment with antiparasitic medications. If someone suspects a parasitic infection, seeking medical attention is crucial for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Here are some well known parasites and their effects:

Liver flukes are parasitic flatworms that can infect the liver, bile ducts, and gallbladder in humans and other mammals. There are different species of liver flukes, and the specific effects on an individual can vary depending on the species and the severity of the infection. The two main types of liver flukes that infect humans are Clonorchis sinensis and Opisthorchis viverrini.

When liver flukes block the liver flow by infesting the bile ducts, several health issues can arise:

Biliary Obstruction: Liver flukes can cause obstruction of the bile ducts, which are essential for the flow of bile. This obstruction can lead to the backup of bile in the liver, causing inflammation and potential damage to liver cells.

Cholangitis: Inflammation of the bile ducts, known as cholangitis, can occur. This can lead to symptoms such as abdominal pain, fever, jaundice, and in severe cases, it can cause systemic infections.

Liver Damage: Chronic infection with liver flukes can lead to progressive liver damage. This damage may result in conditions such as fibrosis and cirrhosis, which can impair liver function over time.

Increased Risk of Liver Cancer: Chronic infection with certain liver flukes, particularly Opisthorchis viverrini and Clonorchis sinensis, is associated with an increased risk of developing cholangiocarcinoma, a type of liver cancer that originates in the bile ducts.

Digestive Symptoms: Infected individuals may experience digestive symptoms such as abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, and diarrhea.

Malabsorption: In some cases, liver fluke infections can interfere with the absorption of nutrients from the intestine, leading to malnutrition.

It's important to note that liver fluke infections are more prevalent in certain regions of the world, particularly in parts of Asia. Diagnosis and treatment are typically managed by healthcare professionals. Antiparasitic medications, such as praziquantel, are commonly used to treat liver fluke infections, and in some cases, surgery may be necessary to remove large fluke burdens or address complications.

Tapeworm infections, caused by certain species of flatworms belonging to the class Cestoda, can affect individuals in various ways depending on the type of tapeworm, the severity of the infection, and the specific organs involved. Here are some general effects and symptoms associated with tapeworm infections:

Digestive Symptoms:

Abdominal Pain: Tapeworms can cause abdominal discomfort and pain, especially if they attach to the lining of the intestines.

Nausea and Vomiting: Some individuals may experience nausea and occasional vomiting.

Weight Loss and Malnutrition:

Tapeworms absorb nutrients from the host's digestive system, potentially leading to weight loss and malnutrition. This is because the tapeworm competes with the host for the nutrients in the ingested food.

Intestinal Blockage:

In severe cases or with heavy infestations, tapeworms may cause intestinal blockages, leading to symptoms such as severe abdominal pain and constipation.

Segments in Stool:

Certain types of tapeworms (such as those of the genus Taenia) release segments containing eggs that may be visible in the stool.

Allergic Reactions:

Some individuals may experience allergic reactions to the tapeworm or its products, resulting in itching, rash, or other allergic symptoms.

Neurological Symptoms (In Rare Cases):

In cases of cysticercosis, a condition caused by the larval stage of Taenia solium, the larvae can migrate to various tissues, including the brain. This can lead to neurological symptoms such as seizures and headaches.

It's important to note that not all tapeworm infections cause symptoms, and some individuals may remain asymptomatic for a long time. The severity of symptoms often depends on factors such as the type of tapeworm, the number of worms present, and the location in the body.

Ascaris lumbricoides is a parasitic roundworm that can infect the human digestive tract. Ascaris infections, also known as ascariasis, are common in regions with poor sanitation and hygiene practices. The effects of Ascaris infection can vary widely, depending on the number of worms present, the age and health of the individual, and the overall burden of the infection. Here are some potential effects:

Digestive Symptoms:

Abdominal Pain: Ascaris worms can cause abdominal pain and discomfort, particularly if they migrate through the intestines.

Nausea and Vomiting: Some individuals may experience nausea and occasional vomiting.

Intestinal Obstruction:

In severe cases, a heavy infestation of Ascaris worms may lead to intestinal obstruction, causing symptoms such as severe abdominal pain, bloating, and constipation. This is more common in children.

Malnutrition:

Ascaris worms feed on nutrients in the intestines, potentially leading to malnutrition and weight loss.

Respiratory Symptoms:

In certain cases, the larvae of Ascaris can migrate to the lungs, causing symptoms such as coughing, wheezing, and difficulty breathing. This condition is known as Löffler's syndrome.

Allergic Reactions:

Some individuals may experience allergic reactions to the presence of the worms, leading to symptoms such as rash, itching, or eosinophilia (an increase in a type of white blood cell).

Potentially Asymptomatic:

Many individuals with Ascaris infections may remain asymptomatic, especially if the number of worms is low. In such cases, the infection may go unnoticed for a long time.

It's important to note that Ascaris lumbricoides is one of the most common human parasitic infections, and millions of people worldwide are affected. Children are often more susceptible to the effects of the infection due to their smaller size and developing immune systems.

Hookworms are parasitic worms that infect the small intestine of humans and other mammals. There are two main species of hookworms that commonly infect humans: Ancylostoma duodenale and Necator americanus. The effects of hookworm infection, known as hookworm disease or ancylostomiasis, can vary based on factors such as the number of worms present, the duration of the infection, and the individual's overall health. Here are some potential effects:

Gastrointestinal Symptoms:

Abdominal Pain: Hookworms can cause abdominal pain and discomfort, particularly if they attach to the lining of the small intestine.

Diarrhea: Diarrhea may occur, often with abdominal cramping.

Anemia:

Hookworms feed on blood in the small intestine, which can lead to chronic blood loss and iron deficiency anemia. Symptoms of anemia may include fatigue, weakness, and pallor.

Nutritional Deficiencies:

Chronic hookworm infection can contribute to malnutrition and deficiencies in nutrients such as iron, vitamin B12, and protein.

Cognitive and Developmental Impact:

In children, chronic hookworm infections can lead to cognitive and developmental issues, including impaired growth and intellectual development. Malnutrition and anemia can contribute to these effects.

Skin Symptoms:

Larvae of hookworms can penetrate the skin, causing a skin condition known as cutaneous larva migrans. This condition is characterized by itchy, winding, reddish or serpentine tracks on the skin.

Respiratory Symptoms (in Rare Cases):

Larvae can also migrate through the lungs, causing symptoms such as coughing and wheezing. However, respiratory symptoms are less common than gastrointestinal symptoms.

Allergic Reactions:

Some individuals may experience allergic reactions to hookworms, leading to symptoms such as rash, itching, or eosinophilia (an increase in a type of white blood cell).

Impaired Physical Fitness:

Chronic hookworm infection has been associated with decreased physical fitness and work capacity, which can impact the quality of life and economic productivity of affected individuals.

"Nematode" is a broad term referring to a large and diverse group of roundworms that includes both free-living and parasitic species. Nematodes can infect various organs and tissues in humans and other animals, and the effects on an individual's life can vary widely depending on the specific type of nematode, the site of infection, the number of worms present, and the individual's overall health. Here are some general considerations:

Gastrointestinal Nematodes:

Ascariasis (Ascaris lumbricoides): As mentioned earlier, ascariasis is caused by the roundworm Ascaris lumbricoides. It primarily affects the gastrointestinal tract, leading to symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and occasionally intestinal obstruction.

Trichuriasis (Trichuris trichiura): Whipworm infection affects the large intestine and can cause symptoms like abdominal pain, bloody diarrhea, and weight loss.

Hookworm Infections (Ancylostoma duodenale, Necator americanus): These parasites can lead to anemia due to blood loss in the small intestine, along with gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain and diarrhea.

Filarial Nematodes:

Lymphatic Filariasis (Wuchereria bancrofti, Brugia malayi, Brugia timori): These nematodes infect the lymphatic system, causing swelling and fluid accumulation in the limbs (lymphedema) or genitals (hydrocele). The chronic form of the disease can lead to permanent disability.

Onchocerciasis (Onchocerca volvulus): Also known as river blindness, onchocerciasis can lead to skin changes, visual impairment, and blindness. The larvae of the nematode migrate through the skin, causing itching and skin lesions.

Tissue-Invasive Nematodes:

Strongyloidiasis (Strongyloides stercoralis): This nematode can penetrate the skin and infect various organs, leading to gastrointestinal and respiratory symptoms. In immunocompromised individuals, especially those with chronic infections, it can cause a potentially life-threatening condition known as hyperinfection syndrome.

Toxocariasis (Toxocara canis, Toxocara cati): These nematodes, commonly found in dogs and cats, can accidentally infect humans. The larvae migrate through various tissues, leading to symptoms that may include fever, cough, and abdominal pain.

Not all nematode infections cause noticeable symptoms, and some may remain asymptomatic.

Anna Korakakihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02819066979905843395noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5985097667086987170.post-34402988946849723332023-11-23T10:11:00.008+01:002023-11-23T12:06:31.185+01:00Is there a connection between Addiction & Parasites?
Addiction is a complex,
multifaceted and multileveled phenomenon that has been observed throughout the
centuries in every walk of human life. You can find addiction everywhere. It
extends beyond the realm of drugs and alcohol. It is encompassing behaviors
such as gambling, shopping, eating, porn, internet and electronics use. It’s
any kind of abuse in general really.

Addiction is a chronic, relapsing disorder characterized by a compulsion to
engage in a particular behavior or
consume a substance, despite the
negative consequences it may bring. Compulsion stems from alterations in the
brain's reward system, which leads to an intense focus on seeking and obtaining
the object of addiction, often at the expense of other aspects of life, including
relationships, work, and almost always our personal well-being and can have
far-reaching consequences, both for the individual struggling with the disorder
and for society as a whole.

On a personal level, addiction can lead to physical and mental health problems,
financial difficulties, strained relationships, legal issues and it can be a
matter of life or death as it can have a significant societal impact,
contributing to increased healthcare costs, crime, and lost productivity.

If we were asked to paint the picture of addiction, we would see a heavy dark
cloud looking like a monstrously huge Octopus that is above us in the
collective unconscious realm of humanity, globally in every human, with many
legs being very steamy gray like, spraying heavy and hypnotizing smoke. The
legs would be like Octopus legs with the suckers on them. Infinite number of
legs. This monster would suck the vital energy off of humans. It would be fed
on the energy provided by humans doing certain compulsive behaviors and the repetition
of those behaviors would be his daily meals. The more its fed the more it
grows. By now 2023 we would have it everywhere on the whole planet surrounding
every corner, every city, every village, every human being alive, consuming our
vitality, living our life, with the sole target to fully cover up the Earth and
make it its own habitation.

Everyone would be glued on one of his leg suckers and would be tricked into feeding
the “monster ship”. We can picture addiction as a humongous alien parasite-like
phenomenon that has concord our planet but humans cannot see clearly because of
its smoke.

There would be infinite choices written on its legs. Some legs would be larger
than others with more capacity to suck from humans.

One leg would be called sugar addiction.
Another would be alcohol, or cocaine,
marijuana, junk, porn, gambling, speed,
smoking, talking too much, eating too much, being hyper, junk food, sleep too
much, procrastinate and all kinds of brain altering drugs and bad behaviors
that you can think of is actually part of it. One leg would be the ego leg,
egoistic behavior, egoistical choices.

There’s no clarity in addiction. We lose the ability to navigate our own
vehicle. All humans, readers and everyone that is alive at this moment in
history and the past 100 years at least have ALL been in the past or are in the
present moment addicted to something or another in our lives.
may struggle with multiple types of addictions simultaneously. Seeking
professional help and support is often the most effective way to overcome
addiction and improve overall well-being.

I am going to give you an assignment, here and now.

Assignment 1:

Think of at least 5 addictions or addictive behaviors you have been or still
are addicted to and write them in a clean page one by one leaving some space
under it.
If you can’t be sure of your own addictive behaviors, ask your significant
other, friends, your family or your phycologist
to tell you some of your addictions. We can’t see ourselves clearly but
we can definitely see the other’s! I suggest that you use this opportunity to
ask others about it, not to get upset but to become a better person. This goes
for everyone and I don’t mean that someone is not a good person, I mean that we
as humans are here to evolve and become better persons. We are not born knowing
everything. We are in a learning process.

Assignment 2:<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EL;">

Choose a person that you
think is packed with addictive behaviors, one person that you can clearly see his/hers
addictions and write at least 5 of them in a clean paper leaving some space
under each addiction.

Once you complete the assignments 1 & 2 read the following paragraph:

The development of
addiction is closely linked to the brain's reward circuitry, specifically the
mesolimbic dopamine system. This neural pathway is responsible for the pleasurable
sensations associated with rewarding experiences, such as eating, social
interaction, and sexual activity. When an individual engages in an addictive
behavior or consumes a substance, the brain releases dopamine, which creates a
feeling of pleasure or euphoria. Over time, repeated exposure to the addictive
substance or behavior can cause the brain to adapt to the increased dopamine
levels, resulting in a decrease in the effectiveness of the reward system. As a
result, individuals may find themselves needing to engage in the addictive
behavior more frequently or intensely to achieve the same pleasurable effects,
ultimately leading to a cycle of addiction.

In short, addictions have to do with love. We need the nipple of the loving
mother, the hug of the stoic father, the embrace of the caring partner but
instead we get the sucker of a monstrous parasite. We are lost in our needs and
the clouds are heavy and dark smoke of this humongous Octopus monster has been
spraying on us for thousands of years. We are a lost society, searching for
love. Love is Home. In love, we are found. Self-love is the most difficult task
of this generation. In order to be able to give love one must first give love
to oneself. The minute one starts to love one-self (self-love), the same minute
one is able and wants to give love to others. The more we tap into self-love
the less able we become to tap into the octopus’s suckers anymore.

Assignment 3:

On the paper that you have
written your own 5 addictions, write under each one of them, what of the above 6
subjects might be the issue of the need/addiction. Is it a Substance addiction,
Behavioral addiction, Food addiction, Technology addiction, Egoistic behavior
or Social Addition.

Now, do the same, find which of the subjects his/hers addictions fit best for
your friend’s list as asked in assignment 2.

Addiction is a complex
interplay of genetic, environmental, and psychological factors. Some
individuals may be more susceptible to addiction due to genetic
predispositions, while others may be influenced by environmental factors such
as exposure to drugs, stress, or trauma. Psychological
factors, including mental health issues, personality traits, and coping
mechanisms, can also play a significant role in the development of addiction.

Overcoming
addiction is a challenging process that often requires a multifaceted and
multidimensional approach to treatment. In many cases, recovery is an ongoing
process that requires continued effort, support, self-awareness and the most
important self-love. <span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EL;">Self-love is the act of valuing and caring for oneself. It is often
misconstrued as selfishness or arrogance, but in reality, self-love is crucial
for overall well-being and a healthy relationship with oneself and others. In
addiction rehab clinics and retreats, self-love is not given much attention,
but it is a vital part of the healing process. Self-love is being creative, it
is not an overnight process, but rather a journey that requires patience and
practice. It can be mistaken in many ways and acted out in an egoistic way. It
takes time, courage and inner power to overcome it.

To support your efforts towards self-love, start by finding a light within you.
It can be your humor, your light heartedness, your seriousness, your achieving
capacity, your monkey-like muscled body, your lovely hands, your amazing hair,
the great way you cook food, your way with fashion that turns heads, your sex
appeal, your love for simplicity and simple daily tasks such as gardening,
washing dishes, singing solo, drawing your inner issues and then burn the
papers in exhalation, taking fotos in your camera, it can be as simple as your
everyday breath. Stick to your breathing and ask it to guide you to
your next creative project. Take 3 deep breaths now and allow your body to be
filled with this air of creativity. One of the mottos to overcome an addiction
is “Let
the bad go out of you, let the good enter you”

The phrase "let
the bad go out of you, let the good enter you" refers to the
process of releasing negative thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and replacing
them with positive ones. It is a common saying used in spiritual and personal
growth contexts, encouraging individuals to let go of negative influences and
make space for positive ones.

In practice, this phrase
can be applied in several ways. For example, it may involve letting go of
grudges, resentment, guilt, blame and anger towards others and replacing them
with forgiveness, compassion, and understanding.
It may also involve releasing negative self-talk and self-doubt and replacing
them with positive affirmations and self-love.

To "let the bad go out of
you," you may need to take a look at your beliefs, habits, emotional
roller coaster, your actions and thought patterns that may be holding you back
or causing you stress. Identifying these negative influences can help you to
release them and make space for more positive ones.

To "let the good enter
you," you can focus on cultivating positive habits and attitudes,
such as gratitude, gentleness, self-care, and kindness towards others by doing
good and not expecting anything in return. By embracing positive influences and
thoughts, you can create a more fulfilling and joyful life.

Use "let the bad go out of you,
let the good enter you" as a powerful reminder to focus on what
truly matters in life and to let go of anything that may be hindering your
personal growth and happiness. The more goodness, light, vitality you pour into
your glass of life/ your body/your mind/your emotional body and your daily
life, the less of garbage/toxicity/parasites you will have to focus on.

Assignment 4:

Let’s find out some ways to practice self-love and add them, ground, land them
to our daily life and practice during the week, in weekends or whenever feels
best for you.
therapist about it and read them carefully for 13 days until you recognize them
in your everyday life. Once you recognize your flaws in the daily life, stop
and observe where they come from, what they want to attract and why. Then stop
the narrative and act in a different way. Say, let me think about it, yes,
please, I’m sorry and thank you.
their hosts, including potentially affecting aspects related to
addiction.

One of the well-known examples involves the parasite Toxoplasma gondii. This protozoan parasite has a complex life cycle, and its primary host is a member of the cat family. However, it can also infect humans and other warm-blooded animals. Research has indicated that T. gondii may alter the behavior of infected rodents, making them less fearful of predators, which increases the likelihood of the parasite being transmitted back to its primary host, the cat. While the effects in humans are not as well-documented, some studies have suggested potential links between T. gondii infection and changes in human behavior, including potential associations with mental health disorders.

Regarding addiction, there have been some studies suggesting a correlation between T. gondii infection and changes in human behavior. For example, a study published in the journal "Addiction Biology" in 2016 found that individuals infected with T. gondii had an increased likelihood of being involved in a car accident. While this does not directly imply a causal relationship with addiction, it suggests that the parasite might influence certain behaviors.

The mechanisms behind these behavioral changes are not fully understood, and it's essential to interpret these findings with caution. The field of "parasite-induced behavioral changes" is still relatively young, and more research is needed to establish the extent and nature of such interactions in humans.

It's important to note that while parasites may have some influence on behavior, addiction is a complex phenomenon with various genetic, environmental, and psychological factors at play. Substance use disorders involve changes in brain chemistry, reward pathways, and other neurobiological aspects that are not fully explained by parasitic infections alone.

Parasite-induced behavioral changes refer to alterations in the behavior of a host organism (addition) caused by parasitic infections. These changes are often adaptive for the parasite, facilitating its survival, reproduction, and transmission to new hosts. The phenomenon has been observed in various host-parasite interactions across different species. Here are some notable examples:

Toxoplasma gondii:

Host: Toxoplasma gondii is a protozoan parasite that can infect a wide range of warm-blooded animals, including humans.

Behavioral Changes: In rodent hosts, such as mice and rats, T. gondii has been shown to alter behavior. Infected rodents display reduced aversion to cat odors and may even be attracted to them, making them more susceptible to predation by cats. This behavior benefits the parasite by completing its life cycle, as it can only reproduce sexually in the gut of a cat.

Hairworms (Spinochordodes tellinii):

Host: Grasshoppers and crickets.

Behavioral Changes: Hairworms are parasitic worms that infect insects. Once mature, they induce behavioral changes in their insect hosts, compelling them to jump into water. This behavior is crucial for the worm's reproductive cycle, as it needs water to lay its eggs. The infected insect's suicidal leap into water facilitates the release of the hairworm and the subsequent hatching of its eggs.

Lancet Liver Fluke (Dicrocoelium dendriticum):

Host: Snails, ants, and mammals (including cows and deer).

Behavioral Changes: The lancet liver fluke has a complex life cycle involving snails, ants, and mammals. When it infects ants, it manipulates their behavior. Infected ants are more likely to climb vegetation and attach themselves there. This behavior makes them more likely to be consumed by mammals, completing the fluke's life cycle.

Parasitic Wasps (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae):

Host: Caterpillars.

Behavioral Changes: Some parasitic wasps lay their eggs on or inside caterpillars. The wasp larvae manipulate the host's physiology and behavior to ensure their own survival. For example, certain wasp species inject chemicals that alter the caterpillar's immune response, allowing the wasp larvae to avoid detection and destruction.

These examples illustrate the diverse strategies employed by parasites to manipulate the behavior of their hosts for their own benefit. While these adaptations are fascinating from a biological perspective, they also highlight the complex and often intricate relationships between parasites and their hosts in the natural world.

The research on human addiction or changed behavior by parasites is not yet fully researched and is better called parasite-induced behavioral changes. Obviously there's a lot to learn from researching those parasitic organisms in human beings and one can only expect that these parasites in humans affect the human behavior fully because they want to survive and eat and drink and reproduce and survive, the only way to do this is if the host-the humans do as they been told by the parasites.

One can only imagine how deeply these parasitic organisms have been affecting our society in so many levels. It's almost like this society is run by parasites, not only metaphorically speaking.

Imagine liver flukes (see image below) being living inside your liver trying to get food all the time while blocking your liver's natural rhythm. You will be angry, you will be shouting and be depressed with life, because life doesn't flow inside of you. Most of humans have many liver flukes.
Imagine having tapeworms inside your body. Tapeworms are eating a lot of food. So the human that has tapeworms is eating a lot of food and can't get weight on and so on and so forth...

Stay in tune I will go deeper into the specific behaviors of humans due to parasites in another article, meantime for more info please read the books of Dr. Hulda Clark.

She was born in Canada in 1928 and later moved to the United States, where she received her degree in naturopathy from the Clayton College of Natural Health. Throughout her career, Dr. Clark was passionate about finding natural solutions to health problems and was known for her unconventional approach to medicine.

One of the central themes of Dr. Clark's work was the idea that parasites were responsible for a wide range of illnesses and diseases, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and other chronic conditions. According to her, parasites could cause disease by releasing toxic substances into the body, affecting the immune system, and interfering with the proper functioning of organs and tissues. Dr. Clark believed that getting rid of these parasites was key to restoring health.

Parasites have been present on Earth for an incredibly long time, likely since the emergence of life itself. The relationship between parasites and their hosts has been evolving for millions to billions of years. The exact origins of parasites are challenging to pinpoint, as they are diverse and have adapted to various ecological niches over evolutionary time.

Parasites come in many forms, including protozoa, helminths (worms), arthropods, and even certain fungi and bacteria. They can infect animals, plants, and other microorganisms. The co-evolutionary history between parasites and their hosts has led to intricate adaptations on both sides, where hosts develop defense mechanisms against parasites, and parasites evolve strategies to evade these defenses.

Parasites often exploit a wide range of hosts to complete their life cycles, and their ability to adapt and evolve rapidly has contributed to their persistence and diversity. The intricate relationships between parasites and their hosts have played a crucial role in shaping ecosystems and influencing the evolution of various species.

To this end, Dr. Clark developed a protocol for eliminating parasites that involved a combination of herbal remedies, special diets, and electronic devices. The herbal remedies she recommended were designed to kill the parasites directly, while the diets and devices were intended to support the body's natural ability to heal. Dr. Clark also advised patients to avoid environmental toxins, such as heavy metals and other pollutants, which she believed could contribute to the presence of parasites in the body.

Despite her unconventional ideas, Dr. Clark's work has been met with both praise and criticism. Some people have reported remarkable improvements in their health after following her protocol, while others have found her claims to be unsupported by scientific evidence.

Despite the controversy surrounding her work, Dr. Clark remains an influential figure in alternative medicine and the study of parasites. Her ideas and methods continue to inspire new research and advancements in the field, and her books and other materials are widely available to those interested in learning more about her work.

In conclusion, Dr. Hulda Clark's work on parasites is both significant and controversial. While some of her ideas and methods may be unconventional, her passion for finding natural solutions to health problems and her contributions to the field of alternative medicine cannot be denied. Whether her work will be fully embraced by the medical community remains to be seen, but her legacy and impact on the study of parasites will likely endure for many years to come.

Anna Korakakihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02819066979905843395noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5985097667086987170.post-49155371548027093542023-11-17T08:43:00.003+01:002023-11-17T08:43:39.490+01:00

@http://lightlanguage.com

Anna Korakakihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02819066979905843395noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5985097667086987170.post-63397819803707759312023-11-08T10:43:00.001+01:002023-11-08T10:43:40.210+01:00

“Until 1833, Cannabis Sativa was the largest agricultural crop in the world, and it was possible to obtain countless different products from this plant because the hemp plant has the most resilient natural fiber in the world.”

You can buy fabrics, oils, medicines and paper from it.

Until 1900, most textiles were hemp, and about 50% of drugs on sale, for almost the entire second half of the 19th century. One-Straw Revolution" by Masanobu Fukuoka is not merely a treatise on
farming techniques; it is a profound spiritual journey into the heart of
nature and human existence. Published in 1975, this book presents a
philosophy of farming and life that transcends the boundaries of
agriculture and offers a profound spiritual message. Fukuoka's approach
to farming, deeply rooted in Zen Buddhism and a reverence for the
natural world, provides a gateway to understanding the spiritual
dimensions of sustainable agriculture and our interconnectedness with
the Earth. In this article, we explore the spiritual meaning of "The
One-Straw Revolution." Fukuoka's Spiritual Foundation

Masanobu Fukuoka was deeply influenced by his spiritual beliefs and his exposure to Zen Buddhism.

His
profound connection to nature and the land was a result of years of
contemplation and observation. Fukuoka's spiritual journey underlies the
core principles of "The One-Straw Revolution."

Central to
Fukuoka's philosophy is the idea of simplicity. He believed that a
complex life leads to confusion and suffering. By simplifying our
approach to farming and living, we can find a sense of oneness with the
natural world. This principle mirrors the Zen concept of "oneness"
(satori) – the realization that everything is interconnected.

Non-Doing
(Wu Wei): Fukuoka's "Do-Nothing Farming" is deeply rooted in the Taoist
principle of "wu wei," which means "non-doing" or "effortless action."
He encourages farmers to work with nature rather than against it,
aligning their actions with the natural rhythms of the environment. This
approach reflects the Zen idea of effortless mindfulness and
spontaneous action.

Fukuoka believed that humans should harmonize
with the natural world instead of trying to conquer or control it. This
perspective aligns with Zen's emphasis on living in harmony with
nature, respecting all living beings, and experiencing the
interconnectedness of life.

Fukuoka's philosophy reminds us that
everything in the universe is interconnected. Just as the health of the
soil affects the quality of the crops, our actions have repercussions on
the environment and, ultimately, on our own well-being. This concept
reflects the Buddhist principle of interdependence (pratityasamutpada).

Fukuoka's
deep respect for the environment and his commitment to sustainable
farming practices demonstrate a profound sense of responsibility towards
the Earth. This is reminiscent of the Buddhist idea of being a steward
of the Earth, taking care of our planet for future generations.

The
"One-Straw Revolution" encourages us to let go of the need for control
and manipulation. It reminds us to embrace the natural flow of life and
allow things to unfold as they should. This mirrors the Zen practice of
letting go of attachments and desires.

Anna Korakakihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02819066979905843395noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5985097667086987170.post-18047593913540367902023-08-28T12:39:00.007+02:002023-11-17T08:41:07.446+01:00Herbal Light Language Classes

* Herbal Immersion is a class of Sacred Geometry Light Language that is bringing the energetic imprint of the Herbs, Trees, magic stones and other healing items in our daily life for utilizing in the way each one of us wants to work with it. Everything, the animals, the plants, the trees, the humans and everything living on this planet is made from Light and Geometry.
The plants and Nature are emanating constantly shapes, colors, music...
We are also emanating constantly shapes colors and feelings. We even use them in our spoken language, like when we say - he sees red - meaning he is getting angry, right. Another example is when we say he is all boxed in ? Right ? is like we literally we see the cube on this person's auric field. Like we see the red around this person's aura. How about - He's got the blues ? In Greece we say - He has his blacks. That's because we see the colors, we are just not trained in recognizing them and talk about it.

Well you can say that there could be a Sacred Language hiding in there, between the colors and the shapes. Here's what we know about it...
There's a curandero's lineage from Mexico that are Mayan-Aztec descendants. They have passed down to Starr Fuentes a Sacred Language that we all speak in color and shape for us to re-learn. We call it Light Lnaguage by Starr Fuentes. In the beginning level you start as a kindergarten student, realizing basic colors, remembering basic shapes and you can start working on your chakras. On chakra grids and emanations. The pineal gland is loving it... On the Intermediate level you go a bit further ahead the teachings of more intricate and "magic" shapes and colors for utilizing the light in current situations in your life. You are learning to write grids, for yourself and others 7 chakras by 7 levels deep working on situations that are currently creating issues in your life. Completing this level you have a better idea of what is going on with the shapes and colors and you can move either towards the Rays class or the Advanced level. The Rays are giving you an ally, the ascended masters are speaking to you through shape and color. The Advanced level is working as deep as your DNA can go... And it is rather empowering level that requires responsibility to use it, always within you. There's no wrong doing here. It's all Light Code. The next step one can take even before the Advanced level, if one is interested in going deeper in Synesthesia, is the Herbal Immersion Class. This is my gem, my baby, my joy! You are getting in touch with what you already know. Plants, trees, stones, minerals, entheogens and Nature.
Here we open up to learning Synesthesia and touch our own unique connection with our higher selves as Natural beings, intertwined with the Cosmos.
What is your own unique gift? What connections of Nature are the strongest in you? Find out, discover or empower your gifts with us in Light Language.

Our website is Quantumdruids.com and it is under contraction for the time being.

Each pattern is crafted to sound pleasing and evoke specific scents.
The Shipibo-Conibo embrace synesthesia as an integral part of their creative process, resulting in artistic creations that transcend traditional boundaries.

Similarly, the Aymara of Bolivia embrace synesthesia in their cloth weaving, where touch, color, and sweetness converge in a sensory dance. Through their music, the Desana create a multisensory symphony that transcends the boundaries of conventional artistic expression.

Beyond indigenous cultures, synesthesia can also manifest within individuals who engage in practices that foster heightened awareness and connection to the whole.
When perceiving the world with a felt sense, internal synesthesia is not uncommon.

Nature's connection with
geometry and color is a mesmerizing phenomenon that transcends the ordinary
boundaries of our senses.
The intricate patterns found in every leaf, petal,
and ripple of water seem to convey a language beyond words. It is as if nature
communicates with us through a form of telepathy, revealing its secrets through
sacred geometry and an enchanting palette of colors. Is it telepathy ?

Sacred geometry, a term
that traces back to ancient civilizations, is the study of geometric patterns
that hold profound spiritual significance. It is believed to be the language of
the universe, a common thread that weaves through all of creation. Nature, as
the embodiment of the universe's essence, naturally emanates these geometric
patterns.

One of the most striking
examples of sacred geometry in nature is the Fibonacci sequence, a series of
numbers that appears in the spiral arrangement of seeds in a sunflower head,
the growth patterns of pine cones, and the exquisite curve of a nautilus shell.
The Fibonacci sequence is also present in the fractal branching of trees and
the veins of leaves, as if nature whispers to us the hidden harmony within its

Furthermore, nature's
telepathy through color is the completion of the language of telepathy.
Each hue, shade, and tint in
the natural world exudes its unique vibrational frequency, evoking emotions and
triggering responses within us. Each geometry combined with color is another "letter" or "word".
For example the sunsets' palette of warm oranges, pinks,
and purples can fill our hearts with tranquility and awe, these are the words BEST LIGHT and we get to communicate with our own BEST LIGHT when its emanated upon us in a sunset, while the vibrant
greens of a lush forest can invigorate our senses with healing energy and growth. These are the words for green, HEALING & GROWTH.

Studies have shown that
exposure to specific colors found in nature can positively impact our mental
and emotional well-being. The calming effect of blue hues from the sky and
water, means TRANQUILITY & FLOW while the grounding qualities of earthy browns, mean PLEASURE, CONFIDENCE & GROUNDING. They are all part of nature's telepathic language.

The audible
expressions resonate with our hearts, evoking a sense of unity and
inter-connectedness with the natural world. Nature is emanating her beauty upon us and its manifesting as Earth, water, plants, animals, humans and all the other amazing creatures that live on this planet.

The ability to tune into
nature's telepathic language is not limited to a select few; it is a gift
inherent in all beings. When we slow down and attune our senses to the
subtleties of the natural world, we can experience this profound connection
more deeply. Spending time in nature, engaging in mindfulness practices, and
cultivating a sense of wonder are all ways to enhance our receptivity to
nature's telepathic messages.

Nature's
emanation of geometry and color as telepathy is a captivating testament to the
innate intelligence and inter-connectedness of the universe.

The sacred geometry
found in every living form and the expressive language of colors tells us that in a fractalic universe the same geometry and color is applied and as we open ourselves to the
language of nature, we can glimpse and decode, write down, express, the actual geometries and colors and their meaning. He argues that these coincidences, which cannot be explained by conventional means of causality, are evidence of a deeper order and meaning in the universe.

In "Synchronicity," Jung presents a range of examples of meaningful coincidences, including dreams, psychic experiences, and moments of profound intuition. He argues that these experiences provide evidence of a deeper level of reality that is connected to the collective unconscious and the archetypes that underlie human experience.

Throughout the book, Jung explores the relationship between synchronicity and the process of individuation, which he defines as the process of becoming a fully integrated and whole individual. He suggests that the experience of synchronicity can be a powerful catalyst for this process, providing individuals with insights and guidance that can help them move towards a greater sense of wholeness and fulfillment.

The term Synchronicity was first coined by Carl Gustav Jung in
the 20th century.
However, some aspects of synchronicity, such as the
idea of meaningful coincidences, can be found in the philosophical
traditions of ancient Greece, particularly in the works of Plato and
Aristotle.

For example, Plato's theory of Forms suggests that there is a
higher reality beyond the physical world, and that certain events in
the physical world can be seen as reflecting or participating in this
higher reality.

Similarly, Aristotle's notion of final causality
suggests that events in the world are not just random, but are part of a
larger purpose or plan.

While neither of these philosophers explicitly

Tolkien
Day 25, the book is "Lord of the Rings" by J.R.R. Tolkien, for the message it carries. In my view, we are all Frodo, during our lives we all go through hardships, joys, betrayals and we all have a ring to carry, one way or another. In this book Tolkien is poetically showing the passage through life...

It is an epic high fantasy novel written by English author and scholar J.R.R. Tolkien.

The story is set in the fictional world of Middle-earth and is presented in three volumes: "The Fellowship of the Ring," "The Two Towers," and "The Return of the King." The trilogy has been widely acclaimed as a literary masterpiece and has had a lasting impact on the fantasy genre, inspiring countless authors, artists, and filmmakers.

The plot of "The Lord of the Rings" centers around the quest to destroy the One Ring, a powerful artifact created by the Dark Lord Sauron to dominate all of Middle-earth. The story follows the journey of the young hobbit Frodo Baggins and his companions, who form the Fellowship of the Ring, as they embark on a perilous mission to take the One Ring to Mount Doom and destroy it in the fires where it was forged.

Throughout their journey, the Fellowship encounters various races and creatures of Middle-earth, including Elves, Dwarves, Men, and the mysterious wizard Gandalf. They also face numerous challenges and adversaries, such as the treacherous Gollum, the fearsome Ringwraiths, and the ever-looming threat of Sauron's armies. As the story unfolds, themes of courage, friendship, and the struggle between good and evil are explored, and the characters are faced with difficult choices that test their loyalty, determination, and moral integrity.

The bonds between the members of the Fellowship and their shared commitment to their quest are central to the story. Their unwavering loyalty and support for one another, even in the face of great adversity, demonstrate the power of friendship and the importance of unity in overcoming challenges.

It presents a world in which the forces of good and evil are engaged in a constant struggle. The story explores the consequences of succumbing to the corrupting influence of power, as well as the potential for redemption and the triumph of good over evil.

Throughout the trilogy, the characters are called upon to make great sacrifices and display acts of heroism, both large and small. The story emphasizes that true heroism can be found in the most unlikely of individuals, and that even the smallest acts of courage can have far-reaching consequences.
The trilogy has also been adapted into several successful films directed by Peter Jackson, further expanding its reach and solidifying its status as a cultural touchstone.

Anna Korakakihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02819066979905843395noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5985097667086987170.post-5564348129412550402023-04-20T11:14:00.001+02:002023-04-20T11:14:23.807+02:00Day 24 : Dr. Jensen's guide to "Better Bowel Care"
Day 24 is Better Bowel Care, a guide by Dr. Bernard Jensen, because there's an instant glimpse of enlightenment once you get rid of all the toxins and garbage you have been carrying around for so many years.

"Better Bowel Care" by Dr. Bernard Jensen is a guide that not only provides practical advice for maintaining a healthy colon and digestive system but also highlights the potential for personal transformation and enlightenment that can result from improved bowel care.

By following Dr. Jensen's recommendations for dietary changes, cleansing practices, and lifestyle adjustments, individuals can experience a profound shift in their overall well-being and vitality.

Eliminating accumulated toxins and waste from the body through better bowel care can lead to increased energy levels, mental clarity, and a heightened sense of well-being.

As individuals rid themselves of the physical burden carried within their colon, they may also experience a sense of emotional and spiritual cleansing, leading to an "instant glimpse of enlightenment."

This newfound clarity and vitality can serve as a catalyst for personal growth, self-awareness, and the pursuit of a healthier, more balanced lifestyle.

The Guide to Better Bowel Care is a holistic health book written by Dr. Bernard Jensen, a pioneer in the field of nutrition, iridology, and natural healing. Food is addiction and addiction is taking us away from spirit. White sugar makes us dull and uninspired. Couch potatoes...

back to the book...

"Sugar blues" explores the impact of sugar consumption on human health and argues that sugar is a major contributor to various health problems. Dufty criticizes the sugar industry and the role it has played in promoting sugar as a harmless and even beneficial substance.

The book delves into the history of sugar, from its origins to its mass production and widespread use in modern society. Dufty provides an overview of how sugar production and consumption have evolved over the years, and he discusses the political and economic factors that have contributed to the sugar industry's growth.

In "Sugar Blues," Dufty makes the case that excessive sugar consumption is a primary cause of many health issues, such as obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and even some forms of cancer. He explains how sugar affects the body, including the impact on blood sugar levels, insulin response, and overall metabolic health, the attitude of a person and it also feeds parasites.

The author also addresses the addictive nature of sugar, comparing it to drugs like alcohol and nicotine. He suggests that sugar creates a cycle of addiction and withdrawal, which can lead to cravings and over consumption. I would dare adding that the addiction of sugar is as deadly as any other heavy drug on the list.

Dufty's book has been praised for raising awareness about the dangers of sugar and inspiring many people to reduce or eliminate sugar from their diets. However, some critics argue that the book oversimplifies the relationship between sugar and health, and that it doesn't take into account other factors, such as genetics and lifestyle choices, that may also play a role in the development of health issues.

This book has had a lasting impact on the way people view sugar and its role in human health. It has been eye opening for me and many others.

It has contributed to an ongoing conversation about the potential risks of excessive sugar consumption and the importance of a balanced and nutritious diet.

MUST READ ....

Anna Korakakihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02819066979905843395noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5985097667086987170.post-21123279503477919902023-04-19T16:57:00.003+02:002023-04-19T16:57:48.481+02:00 Day 22: "Meetings with Remarkable Men" by G. I. Gurdjieff
Day 22, is the book, "Meetings with Remarkable Men" is the second volume of the "All and Everything" trilogy written by the mystic, philosopher, and spiritual teacher G. I. Gurdjieff.
First published in 1963, the book is an autobiographical account of Gurdjieff's early life and his encounters with various spiritual masters who shaped his teachings and understanding of human nature.

The book serves as an introduction to Gurdjieff's spiritual philosophy and the Fourth Way, a method of inner development that combines elements of mysticism, psychology, and practical life advice.

Gurdjieff's personal journey in search of spiritual wisdom and his encounters with several extraordinary individuals who profoundly influenced his life and work.

He describes his adventures across Central Asia, the Middle East, and the Caucasus, detailing his meetings with remarkable men such as the priest Bogachevsky, the dervish Hadji-Asvatz-Troov, and Father Giovanni.

He emphasizes the importance of self-awareness, self-observation, and the balanced development of the mind, body, and emotions.

The book not only serves as an exploration of Gurdjieff's spiritual journey but also as an invitation for readers to embark on their own path of self-discovery and personal growth.

It highlights the transformative power of spiritual growth and self-awareness. Through his encounters with extraordinary individuals, Gurdjieff demonstrates that every person has the potential to overcome their limitations and achieve a higher state of consciousness.

The book has also been adapted into a 1979 film directed by Peter Brook, which further expanded the reach of Gurdjieff's teachings to a wider audience. Today, Gurdjieff's ideas continue to influence spiritual seekers, artists, and thinkers worldwide, and "Meetings with Remarkable Men" remains a classic work of spiritual autobiography that continues to inspire and provoke reflection.

Anna Korakakihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02819066979905843395noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5985097667086987170.post-3038892939715463932023-04-19T10:28:00.001+02:002023-04-19T10:28:45.650+02:00Day 21: The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran
Day 21 is the book"The Prophet", a collection of poetic essays by Lebanese-American writer and artist Kahlil Gibran.
First published in 1923, the book has become one of the most beloved and enduring works of spiritual literature in the 20th century. Gibran's poetic and philosophical musings have resonated with readers across the globe, making "The Prophet" a classic in modern literature.

The story centers around the prophet Almustafa, who has been living in the city of Orphalese for twelve years. As he prepares to board a ship that will take him back to his homeland, the people of Orphalese gather around him and ask for his wisdom on various aspects of life. Almustafa responds with twenty-six poetic essays that address topics such as love, marriage, work, joy, sorrow, freedom, and death.

Through Almustafa's poetic reflections, Gibran explores the complexities of the human experience and offers insights on how to live a life of meaning, balance, and harmony. The essays are characterized by their depth, beauty, and simplicity, reflecting Gibran's own spiritual beliefs and his profound understanding of the human condition.

Gibran emphasizes the interconnectedness of all people, regardless of their culture, religion, or nationality. He suggests that we are all part of a larger spiritual whole and that our individual experiences contribute to the collective human experience.

He advocates for a balanced approach to life, stressing the importance of moderation in all aspects of our existence. He believes that by embracing both the joys and sorrows of life, we can achieve a sense of harmony and fulfillment.

In his essays, Almustafa emphasizes the importance of knowing oneself and understanding our innermost desires, emotions, and motivations.
