The Importance of Water
Water is the the primary means of
activation of all bodily functions. It produces hydroelectric energy in
the cellular membranes of the entire body, especially in the systems of
neurotransmitters. It breaks down all the elements in their primary
nutrients so that they can be absorbed by the organism for further use.
It is paramount in regulating body temperature, improving the transport
of oxygen in the cells and taking out toxins from the body.
After the air we breath, water
is the most essential ellement that keeps as alive! Every major system
in the body depends on water to function. In fact, more than 70% of the
human body is water.
Water needs to be continuously
replaced since, on average, one cup is lost on a daily basis through
breathing alone! You’ll lose another nine cups through sweat, urine, and
other normal functions. Drinking the right amount of water will prevent
your body from unnecessary dehydration. Even minor dehydration can lead
to difficult health problems
“Depending on which parts of the body have a shortage of water, many
localized complications are caused or “programs” of managing dehydration
are being activated like asthma, allergies, hypertension, and even
autoimmune diseases like lupus or diabetes, as well as conditions
related to slow viruses, like the chronic fatigue syndrome and may
others.” Dr. F. Batmanghelidj, MD
